HiTune T68 - This Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Is Worth The Wait
Rae Edwards asked:
The Chinese cell phone / PDAs have been embraced by consumers because of their ability to copy and improve upon popular technology for a low price. It started with the iPhone clones but it has evolved to include clones for most best selling PDAs, pocket PCs, and cell phones.
The HiTune T68 is a great example of this, taking many of its features from the Rim Blackberry and HTC models. This little PDA is loaded with features that make it attractive to executives, students, gamers and texters. But, it is the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system that ensures its popularity and productivity.
Productivity: The T68 runs all mobile Windows programs, including Word, MSN, Excel and PowerPoint. It also includes Outlook Express and syncs to your network or computer via ActiveSync. This makes it easy to receive, compose and edit documents away from the office or classroom.
Fun Features: This model is a true smartphone with a built in 2.0 mega pixel digital camera and web cam, WiFi, Bluetooth, MP3, Java 2.0, and the ability to download and play Nintendo and Windows PPC games.
Appearance: This clone has a 2.6 inch touch screen and a full keyboard. It is silver and black in color and sleek in design. It looks very similar to a Blackberry or other popular pocket PCs.
This phone is a tri band which means it will work worldwide with most GSM carriers. It is unlocked and reads your sim card without drivers or software. In addition to many standard smartphone features, it has GPS navigation and an e-book reader.
Price wise, this PDA is currently starting at about $175 depending on where you get it. There’s no denying that this clone is loaded with specifications that will likely appeal to a wide range of consumers.
